Vivian Domenjoz was born on September 12, 1976 in Moudon (Switzerland). His school studies finished with draftsman's-topographer diploma. At the age of 11, he takes his first horn's lesson, and at 16 writes his first original work for Brass Band, which is created under his direction. Of then, he learns the theory of music, the harmony as well as the direction with Bernard Andrey.
In 1996, he moves in the oriental part of Switzerland. H lives actually in Wil's region. He prepares his composition's diploma with Herbert Willi in the Landeskonservatorium of Vorarlberg (Austria). He plays with the exhibition orchestra of the Swiss army, and is a charter member of the wind band 'the Glasses Quintet'. In 1998, his work 'the Albatross', according to Charles Baudelaire's poem, qualifies thirdly in the CISM's contest of composition. For his work in the winds instruments music, he receives the 1999's prize of the Foundation 'Josef Strässe Steigaker'.
He has written numerous works for quartet, chamber orchestra, piano, soloists, wind bands, Brass Band.
