Bram Wiggins bekam ein "Walter Stokes" Stipendium für die Royal Academy of Music. Dort studierte er die Trompete bei George Eksdale. Später wurde er Erster Kornettsolist und Zweiter Trompetensolist beim "London Symphony Orchestra". Er arbeitete einige Jahre in Kanada als erster Trompetensolist beim C.B.C. Orchester in Winnipeg und beim Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Er war auch tätig als Dirigent, Arrangeur und Solist. Er spielt als Solist mit allen bekannten englischen Sinfonieorchestern. Wiggins schrieb Lehrbücher für Blechbläser und komponierte Werke für Brass Bands und für Harmonieorchester, unter denen auch Pflichtstücke für die Nationalen Brass Band Wettbewerbe in England. Er bekam den "Worshipful Company of Musicians" Preis und den BASBWE Kompositionspreis.

Bram Wiggins was a Walter Stokes Orchestral Scholar at the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied trumpet with the late George Eksdale, who later invited him to join the London Symphony Orchestra as Assistant first trumpet and principal cornet. He worked for some years in Canada where he was principal trumpet of the C.B.C. (Winnipeg Orchestra and of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and also worked as a conductor, arranger and trumpet soloist. He has played with all the major English orchestras. His publications include works for both brass and wind bands, and studies and other educational material for brass instruments. He has supplied test pieces for the National Brass Band Championships and has won the Worshipful Company of Musicians prize and the BASBWE prize for works for Concert Band.
