Verne Reynolds, der amerikanische Hornspieler, Lehrer und Komponist, studierte am "Cincinnati Conservatory of Music" Violine, Piano, Horn und Komposition, sowie an der "University of Wisconsin" unter Cecil Burleigh. Später schrieb er sich am "Royal College of Music" in London als Schüler von Herbert Howells ein. Nachdem er in die USA zurückkehrte, unterrichtete er an der "University of Wisconsin" und der "Indiana University". 1959 trat er der Fakultät der "Eastman School of Music" in Rochester als Hornlehrer bei. Er spielte auch aktiv das Horn mit dem "Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra" und war auch als erster Hornist der "Rochester Philharmonic" erfolgreich tätig.

Verne Reynolds, an American horn player, teacher and composer, studied violin, piano, horn and composition at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and at the University of Wisconsin as a student of Cecil Burleigh. He then enrolled at the Royal College of Music in London under Herbert Howells, and after returning to the USA taught at the University of Wisconsin and at Indiana University. In 1959 he joined the faculty of the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, as a horn teacher. He has also played horn with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and has been principal horn of the Rochester Philharmonic.
