Additional information: Seine beiden Suiten für Military Band gehören schon lange zum Standardrepertoire aller sinfonischen Blasorchester. Gustav Holst schrieb jedoch für viele Arten von Ensembles und Orchester, so z.B. seine St. Pauls Suite für Streichorchester, zu welcher diese Jig die Eröffnung bildet. Johan de Meijs Bearbeitung für Blasorchester zeichnet sich besonders durch eine hervorragende Instrumentierung aus.
