Additional information: Stevie Wonder komponierte The Tears of a Clown und schenkte es 1966 Smokey Robinson zu Weihnachten, der daraus mit seiner damaligen Band, den Miracles, eine Riesenhit machte. Der Song mit dem charakteristischen Dampforgel-Motiv wurde danach mehrmals neu aufgenommen, u.a. von Phil Collins. Stefan Schwalgin setzte das Lied gekonnt für Blasorchester um.
