Additional information: Radici Trentine (Trentino Roots) is based on thematic material derived from three popular songs from the Italian province of Trento. The composition opens with a motive that recalls the fanfare of the Trentino Anthem and which functions as an introduction and interlude to the first song “Vostu che ti compre,” originating from the Valsugana territory. The second song is a sweet Lullaby originating from the Vallagarina region. The composition concludes with the theme of the song “Son tre notti che non dormo,” which is here reinterpreted in a more modern and rhythmic manner.
