Additional information: Giovanni Bruni was born in Tuenno (Trento) in 1982. He completed his first musical studies at the High School of Music in Trento, where he graduated in 2001. The following year, under the guidance of his teacher, Pepito Ros, he graduated in saxophone. He subsequently perfected in jazz with teachers Robert Bonisolo, Mauro Negri, Eugenio Colombo, Achille Succi (Seminars in Siena Jazz), Tino Tracanna and Paolo Fresu (Seminars in Nuoro Jazz). In 2007 he achieved a diploma in Composition and Instrumentation for band with the Maestro Daniele Carnevali at the Conservatory of Trento. He studied composition and band conducting with teachers Daniele Carnevali, Giuliano Moser, Marco Somadossi, Roberto Di Marino, Hardy Mertens, Franco Cesarini, Jan Cober, Felix Hauswirth and Steven Melillo. On one occasion during a workshop with the teacher Fulvio Creux in Rome, he conducted the Band of the Italian Army. He collaborated with the ''Grande Banda Rappresentativa'' of Federation of Trentino's Bands, the Trentino Wind Band, and with the Wind Band of the Rosmini High School with which he took part in the World Music Contest in Kerkrade (NL) winning the third category in 2005, and with the FaReJazz BigBand of Pergine. Since 2005 he has been conducting the Banda Comunale of Tuenno and in 2007 he conducted the Young Band of the ''Grande Banda Rappresentativa'' of Federation of Trentino's Bands.
