ALBERT OLIVER DAVIS ist ein Komponist, Arrangeur und Ausbildner dessen veröffentlichte Werke 400 überschreiten. Die Popularität seines Schreibens reflektiert sein musikalisches Wissen, seine musikalische Erfahrung und Vielseitigkeit Weltweit werden seine Solos für junge Musiker and Werke für Schulbands und Orchester bis hin zu den "Big Band" Klängen von allen einschließlich den Amateuren, den ernsthaften Musikern und den Gelegenheitszuhörern genossen. ALBERT OLIVER DAVIS is a composer, arranger and educator whose published works exceed four hundred. The popularity of his writing reflects his musical knowledge, experience and versatility. From solos for young musicians and works for school bands and orchestras to the "Big Band" sound, the music of Albert Oliver Davis is played and enjoyed worldwide by all including the amateur, the serious musician and the casual listener. In addition to his numerous Ludwig Music publications, he has produced material for the marching bands of Arizona State, Florida, Ohio State and Texas University. For more than 20 years, he se~ed as arranger and accompanist to Thomas L. Thomas with The Voice of Firestone and was an arranger for the Paul Burton Orchestra for thirty-seven years. He is a special arranger for the Boca Raton (Florida) Symphonic Pops, The Scottsdale (Arizona) Symphony and the Salt River Brass Band of Phoenix, Arizona. He is Professor Emeritus (music) of Phoenix College where he served as department chairman for many years.
