...ist am 12. November 1931 in Schenkenfelden (OÖ) geboren. Er studierte am Bischöflichen Lehrerseminar in Linz, wo er auch in Musik bei Prof. Josef Kronsteiner maturierte. Nach der Lehrerausbildung folgte die Fachprüfung für Musikerziehung und Tonsatzlehre bei Prof. Waldeck am Brucknerkonservatorium Linz und bei Prof. Kögler in Wels. Seit 1955 wohnt er in Thalheim bei Wels (OÖ) und war bzw. ist dort als Schulleiter, Organist und Chorleiter des Motettenchor Thalheim tätig. Kompositorisch trat er schon als junger Lehrer in Erscheinung. Seither hat er zahlreiche Werke für Chor und Sänger, aber auch für Bläser und Blasmusik geschrieben.

...is born on the 12th of November 1931 in Schenkenfelden (Upper Austria). He studied at the teacher training college in Linz, where he did the A-levels in music under Prof. Josef Kronsteiner. After this he studied musical education and har-monie under Prof. Waldeck at the "Brucknerkonservatorium" in Linz and under Prof. Kögler in Wels. Since 1955 he lives in Thalheim near Wels (Upper Austria) and he is still working there as a school-director, or-ganplayer and choir-leader of the "Motettenchor" in Thalheim. He has been already composing as a young teacher. Since then he wrote many pieces for chior and singer but also for brass and wind orchestra.

...il est né le 12 novembre 19931 à Schenkenfelden (Haute Autriche). Il fit ses études à l'école normale épiscopale de Linz où il passa aussi son bac (et en musique: il passa l'épreu-ve auprès du Prof. Josef Kron-steiner). Après sa formation profes-sionnelle d'enseignant, il absolut l'examen d'éducation musicale et de composition auprès du Professeur Waldeck au Bruckner-konservatiorium et auprès du Proffesseur Kögler à Wels. Il habite à Thalheim près de Wels depuis 1955 et y était et est directeur d'école, organiste et directeur du Choeur de Motettenchor Thalheim. Il s'est déjà fait connaître pour ses compositions alors qu'il était jeune enseignant. Depuis il a écrit de nombreuses oeuvres pour chorales, pour chanteurs, mais aussi pour joueurs d'instrument à vent ou pour harmonie.
