Albert Häberling wurde am 5. September 1919 in Affoltern am Albis geboren. Er studierte an der Musikakademie Zürich die Fächer Schulmusik, Chor- und Blasmusikdirektion, sowieKontrapunkt und Komposition. Er komponierte in verschiednen Musikgattungen. Während 25 Jahren war er Programmgestalter und Dirigent bei Radio DRS Studio in Zürich. Er war auch der Gründer der Festlichen Musiktage in Uster.

Albert Häberling was born on the 5th September 1919 at Affoltern am Albis and he studied at the Music Academie in Zürich the following subjects: music education, choir and windbandconducting, counterpoint and composition. Mr. Häberling has added to his name compositions in various musical fields. For 25 years he has been doing programmes for the broadcasting society DRS Studio Zürich, where he also worked as conductor. Alberg Häberling is the founder of the Uster Music Festival.
