Eric Osterling ist national bekannt als Komponist und Arrangeur von vielen Originalarbeiten für Band. Viele sehr gute Arrangements haben wir ihm zu verdanken. 1948 machte er das "B.S. degree" für Musikerziehung am "Ithaca College". Seit dieser Zeit war er Musikerziehungsdirektor in den öffentlichen Schulen von Portland, Conneticut, wo er eine hervorragende Konzertband entwickelt hat. 1961 wurde er zum "Man of the Year" von der "Junior Chamber of Commerce" ernannt und er erhielt den Preis "Distinctive Service Award".

Eric Osterling is nationally known as a composer and arranger with many original works for band, and many fine arrangements to his credit. He received his B.S. degree in music education from Ithaca College in 1948. Since that time he has been Director of Music Education in the public schools of Portland, Conneticut, where he has developed an outstanding concert band. In 1961, he was named "Man of the Year" by the Junior Chamber of Commerce and received the Distinctive Service Award.
