Roger Boutry wurde in Paris geboren. Er begann seine Karriere als Virtuose auf dem Klavier bevor er mit 6 Preisen von der "National Superior Academy of Music" in Paris ausgezeichnet wurde. Als Komponist errang er den "First Grand Prix of Rome" (1954), den "Musical Grand Prix of the town of Paris" (1963), den "Grand Prix for Symphonic Promotion of the French Performing Rights Society (1970) und den "Georges Bizet Award of the institute of France". Roger Boutry schrieb folgende Kompositionen: "A Serenade for Saxophone" (ein Quartett mit Orchester), "Alternances" (ein kurzes Stück für Quartett), "Etincelles" (ein Stück mit Piano) und "Cadence et Mouvement".

Born in Paris, Roger Boutry begins his career as a virtuoso pianist before obtaining six First Awards at the National Superior Academy of Music in Paris. Composer: First Grand Prix of Rome (1954), Musical Grand Prix of the town of Paris (1963), Grand Prix for Symphonic Promotion of the French Performing Rights Society in 1970 and the Georges Bizet Award of the institute of France. Roger Boutry has also written: A Serenade for Saxophone (a Quartet with orchestra), "Alternances" (a short piece for Quartet alone), "Etincelles" (a piece with piano and "Cadence et Mouvement".
