Robert E. Foster has been the Director of bands at the University of Kansas since 1971. He is the conductor of the Kansas University Marching band, the Symphonic Band and the Wind Ensemble. Foster has written numerous works for band, including well over 100 published arrangements, compositions and instructional materials. He makes numerous appearances throughout the United States and Europe as a conductor, clinician and adjudicator. He has served as President of both the American Bandmasters Association and the National Band Association.
