Charles Sayre erhielt seine musikalische Ausbildung an der "Youngstown (Ohio) State University, wo er bei Orlando Vitello und am "Berklee College of Music" in Boston Privatstunden in Arrangieren und Komposition nahm. Von da aus wurde er in die "United States Air Force Band" in Washington, D.C. als Arrangeur aufgenommen. Seine Filme und Werbekompositionen haben zahllose Preise, unter anderem neun "New York Film Festival" und "CINDY" Preise gewonnen. Von Charles Sayre sind viele Werke in Druck und im Moment arbeitet er als freischaffender Arrangeur, Komponist, Produzent und Vortragender.

Charles Sayre received his formal education from Youngstown (Ohio) State University, where he studied arranging and composition privately with Orlando Vitello, and the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. From there he went on to become staff arranger for the United States Air Force Band in Washington, D.C. His film and commercial scores have won countless tributes including nine New York Film Festival and CINDY awards. Mr. Sayre has many scores in print and is currently free lancing as an arranger, composer, producer and clinician.
