Bruce Yurko erhielt seinen "B.S. in Music Education" am "Wilkes College" und seinen "Master in Performance" an der "Ithaca College School of Music". Er studierte Horn unter Douglas Hill und John Covert, Dirigieren bei Thomas Michalik und Komposition bei Karel Husa. Von 1974 bis 1981 war er als Banddirektor der Madison High School tätig. Seit 1981 ist er Direktor des Windensembles der "Cherry Hill High Schools East and West" in New Jersey.

Bruce Yurko received his B.S. in Music Education from Wilkes College and his Masters in performance from Ithaca College School of Music. He has studied French horn with Douglas Hill and John Covert, conducting with Thomas Michalik and composition with Karel Husa. From 1974 to 1981 Mr. Yurko was Director of Bands at Madison High School. Since 1981 he has been the Director of Wind Ensembles at Cherry Hill High Schools East and West, Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
