L.C. Harnsberger schloß sein Studium der Komposition an der University of Southern California als B.A. ab. Seit seinem Schulabschluß schreibt und komponiert er für zahlreiche Ensembles, darunter die San Gabriel Valley Concert Band, Foothills Middle School, Pacific Composers Forum, Lawrenco Philharmonic (NY) und La Mireda Symphony. Seine Sonate für Solo Gitarre, gespielt von Scott Johnston, ist als CD erschienen. Harnsberger hat zahlreiche Werke bei Alfred Publishing veröffentlicht, z.B. den Bestseller "Essential Dictionary of Music", "A Day at the Races", "Bater Up!" und "Christmas of the Toreador". Sein Instrumentalwerk umfaßt Werbespots für Acura, Avia und Footjoy sowie die Musik für den preisgekrönten Film "Inside Monkey Zetterland.
