Mit "Vibraphonia" rückt der Komponist das Vibraphon einmal mehr in den Vordergrund. Die Komposition beinhaltet drei verschiedene Charaktere: Zunächst werden rhythmische Elemente vom Blasorchester dargeboten. Sie bilden die musikalische Grundlage für die Darbietung technischer Fertigkeiten des Schlagzeugers. Im zweiten, langsameren Teil kommt der warme Klang des Vibraphon ausgezeichnet zur Geltung ehe im Schlussteil erneut die rhythmische Komponente zum Zug kommt. Denn dort findet dann das virtuose Spiel des Schlagzeugers seinen Höhepunkt.
