Der Titel Gate 11 ist ein Verweis auf die Atmosphäre an einem Flughafen, wo einerseits Hektik herrscht, es andererseits aber auch Menschen gibt, die still vor sich hin träumen von geliebten Menschen, die am Ende ihrer Reise auf sie warten. [E] Music by John Miles was one of Blackstone's favourite songs. Using completely different notes but in the same format and with a comparable character, he composed this attractive piece for young and old. Gate 11 refers to the ever hasty and loud scenes at an airport and particularly during check-in. However, there are also some passengers waiting patiently who silently day dream and look forward to meeting a loved one at the end of their journey.
