Additional information: Die Hanover Hymn stammt vom Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts, die heutige Form und ihren Namen bekam sie allerdings erst später. Das Arrangement von Jan de Haan beginnt mit einem luftigen, verspielten Thema, an welches sich die Liedmelodie, zunächst in den Posaunen gespielt, anschließt. Dann wird das Lied vierstimmig wiederholt, bevor das hohe Blech mit einer vom gesamten Orchester begleiteten Wiederholung das Werk majestätisch beendet.
