Die Musik nutzt alle Klangfarben des Blasorchesters und genau wie das Licht in verschiedene Farben gebrochen wird, wird hier das Hauptthema fortwährend in kleine Motive aufgesplittert, die jeweils eine andere Instrumentengruppe in den Vordergrund rücken. Zum Schluss verschmelzen alle Elemente in einem monumentalen Höhepunkt von Bewegung, Klang und Farbe.
