Additional information: „Baion“ ist der Name eines langsamen Rhythmus’ brasilianischen Ursprungs, der sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass jedem Schlag eine Pause gleicher Länge und zwei halbe Schläge folgen. Baion heißt außerdem eine etwas langsamere, sentimentale Samba-Variante, die genau wie der Rhythmus in den 1950er- Jahren nach Europa kam, – und diese neue Komposition im Baion-Rhythmus fu¨r eine sechsstimmig variable Bläserbesetzung von Roland Kernen.
