This short three-movement work chronicles the epic life of a medieval knight in dramatic fashion. The first movement, A Call for Knights, portrays the sounding trumpets calling forth the knights. The expressive second movement, Courting a Lady, is a delightful opportunity to showcase some chamber music within the full ensemble.
