Additional information: Die Stadt Schwenningen am Neckarursprung inspirierte Wolfgang Wössner zu diesem Liedermarsch, im Trio verwendet er das bekannte Volkslied von Friedrich Silcher Am Neckar. Der Marsch ist als reiner 6/8-Marsch komponiert, sodass das ursprüngliche Volksliedthema ebenfalls in diese Taktart umgewandelt wurde. Optional ist eine Aufführung mit Männerchor möglich, welcher dann die ersten beiden und die letzte Strophe des Liedes singt.
