Additional information: Veni Immanuel ist ein mittelalterliches, französisches Antiphon, das heute als das Adventslied O komm, o komm, Emmanuel bekannt ist. Text und Melodie gehen jedoch auf weit ältere Versionen zurück. So wurde die Melodie bereits im 15. Jahrhundert als Prozessionsgesang verwendet. Philip Sparkes bemerkenswerte Bearbeitung strebt eine Vertiefung der geheimnisvollen Kraft der Originalmelodie an.
