Additional information: Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da is a song from The Beatles only double-album "The Beatles", often recognized as The White Album released in 1968. The song is composed by Paul McCartney, but is "as normal" an LennonU/McCartney credit.
It was written on a time when reggae was beginning to become popular in Britain and the song is a kind of homage to the new musical style.
