Additional information: ~Die Rhapsodie für Orchester und Saxophon, die 1903 von Elisa Hall bei Claude Debussy in Auftrag gegeben wurde, als dieser an der Komposition von Le Mer arbeitete, wurde 1911 nur teilweise fertig gestellt. Nach der Orchestrierung durch Roger Ducasse im Jahr 1919 wurde das Werk etwa 15 Jahre später am 14. Mai desselben Jahres in Paris von Pierre Mayeur und dem Societé Nationale de Musique Orchestra unter der Leitung von André Caplet uraufgeführt.
