Die Einleitung "Andantino" bildet ein Flügelhorn- und Tenorhornsolo, welches dann noch von einer Tuba begleitet wird. Die Polka selbst birgt neben tradionellen Elementen auch ein paar moderne Aspekte, was "Dahoam in Tirol" das gewisse Etwas verleiht.
