Additional information: ~Das alte karibische Lied Day-Oh! wurde sehr bekannt dank der Fassung von Harry Belafonte (New-York, 1927) die er 'Banana Boat Song' hieß. Dieser Jazzmusiker entdeckte zufällig, dass er eine sehr besondere und schöne Stimme hatte und wurde so ein weltberühmter und sehr populärer Sänger. Dieses Lied ist eine Ballade die über die Menschen im Bananenhandel erzählt. Der britische Komponist und Arrangeur Terry Kenny schrieb diese ganze schöne Fassung für Blasorchester.
