Additional information: Ignaz Pleyel (1757 - 1831) Schüler Vanhals und Haynds war musikalischer Mitstreiter Mozarts und komponierte leicht verständliche, zu seiner Zeit vielgespielte Instrumentalwerke. Ein "Menuett mit Trio" aus einem Notturno Pleyels arrangierte Manfred Schiebel für Blechbläser-Quintett. Wirklich neue Bearbeitungen für Brass sind eigentlich selten - dieses sollte aber in keinem Repertoire fehlen.
